The placement year
York St John publishes more about this than most universities its size, and the first line is the one that matters.
It is ultimately your responsibility to secure a placement.

The named partner is Hallbridge Education Group. Not a list, one company. Northampton has a similar rule with several representatives; here there is a single route in, and an application you submit yourself is not it.

Where the university says soEnglish, and why there is no waiver here
For most of our courses, you should have IELTS level 6.0 (with no skill below 5.5) or an equivalent qualification.
The India section lists school-qualification alternatives, but scopes them to undergraduate entry. For a masters, no route that avoids an English test is published. Of the twenty-two campuses researched for this site, York St John is the only one where that is true, so do not assume the waiver you found elsewhere applies here.
What a week looks like
York St John publishes its assessment types and does not publish a ratio.
On MSc International Business:
We use a wide variety of assessment types, which help you to develop skills relevant to the workplace. This includes: Presentations, Critical essays, Portfolios, Reflective journals, Case study work.
Exams are not in that list. That is one course rather than a university-wide policy, so read the assessment block on your own course page instead of generalising from it.

- Backlogs/arrears policy - no statement anywhere in the international section or the India entry block
- Medium of Instruction acceptance - MOI is not mentioned on the English language requirements page or the India block, so I cannot say it is accepted or refused, only that it is not published
- Whether the £3,600 professional experience uplift is invoiced in year two or bundled into the £15,400 up front - only the total is published
- A coursework-versus-exam percentage split at PGT level - assessment types are listed in prose and exams are simply absent from the MSc International Business list, which is not the same as the university stating there are no exams
- What happens if a student on the 2-year route secures neither an employer placement nor a Venture Creation Lab place - the programme specification names both options but does not address failing to obtain either
- A dedicated India country landing page - /international/country/india/ and the country-page URL pattern both return 404; the India content exists only inside the JavaScript dropdown on the entry-requirements-for-your-country-or-region page
