Postgraduate courses
Browse the eleven taught masters the University of Bedfordshire lists at Luton.
Bedfordshire is one of the few universities here that will take you in almost
any month. Across the eleven courses above there are eight different start months,
and the most any single course offers is 6.
So “start whenever you like” is true of the university and false of every
course in it. The table below counts the months off the rows rather than repeating the
university’s list, which is why some months show one course and others show ten.
Every fee, length and start month above was read off that course’s own page on 29 August 2026. The start months are not in the rendered page: Bedfordshire fills its “Start date” control with JavaScript, and the months come from the data the page itself ships.
Fees by intake
Your fee is set by your course, not by when you start. What the start month changes is which courses are open to you at all.

June1 of 11 courses below£19,900
July10 of 11 courses below£16,900 to £19,900
The two-year route costs £3,000 more
A two-year masters with placement is £20,900 for the course
against £17,900 for the standard taught masters. Bedfordshire also states that
fees are payable at the rate published for the year you are studying in, so the second year
is not guaranteed to be at today’s price.
What is not published anywhere we could find is what happens if the placement
does not come, which is why this page has no placement section.
One number for the whole country. Bedfordshire does not publish a lower bar
for particular universities the way Teesside, Greenwich and Northumbria do, so there is no
list to check yourself against.
English, and the letter that will not work here
The standard is “UKVI Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element”, and Bedfordshire publishes
exemptions from it.
A Medium of Instruction letter is not one of them. Aston accepts an
MOI letter and Kingston accepts one conditionally, so if you are holding offers from
several of these universities, do not assume the document that satisfied one will satisfy
this one.
Bedfordshire publishes assessment per course and no university-wide split.
The Computer Science masters with placement describes its strategy as a
balance of written reports, exams, assignments and computer-based work. Exams are in that
list, so this is not an exam-free university, and the balance is set course by course.
Getting here: Thameslink serves Luton’s three railway stations, and Luton Airport Parkway is one of them. The
campus is in the town centre, which the outlines above show.
QS World University Rankings 2026 position. topuniversities.com returned HTTP 403 to every access method available in this session (WebFetch, curl with full browser headers, the Apify rag-web-browser scraper, and the browser tool).
Whether the placement fallback wording on the Careers page governs postgraduate taught students, or only undergraduates. The page is written in undergraduate terms.
Any backlogs or arrears policy for Indian applicants - nothing published on beds.ac.uk that I could find.
A university-wide published coursework-vs-exam percentage split at PGT level. Bedfordshire states assessment methods narratively per course, not as percentages.
