The Executive MBA wants three years of work
Sheffield Hallam’s Executive MBA asks for a 2:2 and “at least 3 years of full-time professional work experience”. Applicants with less are considered case by case. That is a different course from the Global MBA, and only one of them is in the list above.

Fees by intake
Your fee is set by your course. Ten of the twelve also start in January, so the start date changes very little here except your arrival.
On the Global MBA you choose the two-year route when you apply
If you are an international student and you want the placement, Sheffield Hallam requires you to apply to the work experience route from the start:
For international students wishing to undertake a placement as part of this course, you must apply to the work experience route.
Transferring onto it later is not offered. Chester has the same rule for the same visa reason, so if you are comparing the two, know that both of them want the decision before you have arrived.
Where Hallam sets this outThe placement year
Sheffield Hallam publishes exactly what its work experience fee buys, and it is worth reading twice, because it is not what most people assume.
The fee includes dedicated employability support to help you prepare for work experience. It does not guarantee you a placement and if a placement is not secured the work experience fee will still be charged.
Take those three claims apart. The fee buys employability support. It does not guarantee a placement. And if no placement comes, you are charged anyway.
If a placement is not secured you transfer to the standard route, so you keep the masters. What you do not get back is the fee.
Compare that with the University of Northampton, which states that its placement fee “will only be charged to you after you secure a placement”. Two universities, both publishing plainly, opposite answers. It is the clearest reason on this site to read the fee terms rather than the brochure.

Sheffield Hallam publishes an India page, and its English route is one of the more generous ones on this site.
The academic requirement
A three or four year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum score of 55% to 60% or higher (from a recognised university).
A three-year and a four-year degree are held to the same band here, which is not true everywhere. Coventry London, for instance, asks five points less of a four-year degree.
The route without IELTS
Standard XII English with a minimum score of 70% may be considered equivalent to IELTS 6.0
Note what it is equivalent to. 70% in Standard XII English stands in for IELTS 6.0, so if your course asks for 6.5 this route may not reach it on its own. Check the requirement for your specific course before you rely on it.

This is the best assessment data of any university on this site, and it is hiding in the module table.
Most universities describe methods. Chester publishes one ratio for one course. Sheffield Hallam publishes a split per module, inside the module list on the course page itself, in this form:

Which means you can work out your own year before you apply. Open your course page, read down the module table, and the assessment for each one is written next to it. No other university on this site lets you do that.
