Two of the eighteen start only in September

Sixteen courses here print all six start dates. Leadership in the Digital Age MBA and International Fashion Management MBA print September and nothing else.

Six intakes is the reason many people choose this campus, so it is worth checking your own course rather than the campus, because for those two the answer is one chance a year.

These MBAs are here, not in Coventry

If you found Global Business MBA, Finance MBA or International Human Resource Management MBA from a Coventry University page, they are taught here, in the City of London, and not at Priory Street. It is the same university and two different cities, with different fees and a different postcode.

7 of the eighteen courses above are MBAs at £21,300. The other 11 are masters at £19,500.

Do you need work experience for the MBA?

Not as a hard bar, and the wording matters. Coventry asks for “An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in any discipline. Evidence of relevant professional qualifications equivalent to Level 6 or at least two years relevant work experience will be considered.”

Two years of relevant work “will be considered”, as an alternative to the degree rather than a requirement on top of it. That is unusual for an MBA, and it is why these MBAs take applicants straight from a bachelor degree.

The requirement, on a course page

Every fee, length and start date above was read off that course’s own page on 29 August 2026. These eighteen are the campus’s whole postgraduate list, from its own course search, not a selection. Each page prints “Location: Coventry University London (City of London)”, checked one at a time, so none of these is a Coventry course and none of Coventry’s is here.

Fees by intake

Your fee depends on whether you take an MSc or an MBA, and on nothing else. The start date does not move it.

SeptemberAll 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
November16 of 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
January16 of 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
March16 of 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
May16 of 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
July16 of 18 courses below £19,500 to £21,300
The placement year costs £1,900

Most courses here offer a route of up to two years with a professional placement. Coventry charges £1,900 for it, on top of the tuition above, and it is a flat fee rather than a percentage.

Set against Leicester, which charges 15% of tuition for the same idea, that is the cheaper way to buy a placement year. What it does not buy you is a guarantee, and the section below has what happens instead.

Why the campus fees page will not help you

Coventry University London still publishes a 2024/25 fee table on its own fees page and nothing newer, so it cannot answer a 2026-27 question. Every figure on this page comes from the individual course pages, which are current.

The placement year

Coventry publishes what happens if the placement does not come, and its answer is different in kind from the others.

If you do not secure your professional placement by the time you have finished your first semester, you will automatically progress with the simulated on-campus practice experience.

You are not moved off the two-year route and you do not lose the year. You do the placement on campus, simulated, instead of in a company. Whether that is worth £1,900 and an extra year of living in London is the question to sit with, and it is a different question from the one Greenwich or Leicester put to you.

One qualification, and it is ours. That sentence is published on Coventry University’s group postgraduate pages and does not name this campus. The London course pages do sell the placement route and do charge the same fee, but no London restatement of the fallback was found, so ask the campus directly rather than treating it as settled here.

What it asks of you

This campus has no entry page of its own. Coventry routes you to the group page for South Asia, and these are its numbers.

60% from a three-year degree, or 55% from a four-year one.
There is a published route without IELTS.
The academic requirement
Students must achieve 60% in a three year undergraduate degree or 55% in a four year undergraduate degree

Note which way round that runs. A four-year degree is asked for five points less, not more, so an engineering graduate is being held to a lower percentage than a three-year BCom.

English, and the boards that count

The published alternative to a language test is 65% in Standard XII English, but only from certain boards: the Central boards, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Uttarakhand.

If your board is not on that list, the route does not apply to you and IELTS at 6.5 is the way in. Check your own board against Coventry’s page before you rely on the waiver.

Backlogs

No backlogs or arrears policy is published for this campus or for Coventry as a group. Nothing either way, so nothing should be assumed.

What a week looks like

Coventry publishes its contact hours, which is the number most universities leave you to guess at.

on average you will have between 8 and 12 teaching and learning hours each week

A 30-credit module is 300 hours of study in total, so most of your week is yours to organise. That is normal for a taught masters, and it is the reason people underestimate one.

On assessment, Coventry does not publish a coursework-versus-exam split. What the London course pages give you is the range of methods:

reports, tests, essays, exams, practical coursework, assignments, viva, presentations.

Exams are on that list, which is worth noting if you have been comparing this campus with Teesside’s London one, where the university states there are none.

Where you actually are: teaching is split between University House at 109-117 Middlesex Street, which has four teaching floors, and 102 Middlesex Street over the road, which has two. The campus is less than a five minute walk from London Liverpool Street Station, which is the figure at the top of this page.

What nobody publishes

  • A freely licensed photograph of this campus. No picture of University House exists on Wikimedia Commons, so the hero shows Coventry University’s Priory Street campus in Coventry and says so. One nearby file is titled “university campus” and sits 30 metres away, but the building in it is signed UEA London and belongs to a different university, so it is not used.
  • A QS World University Rankings 2026 position for the London campus. It is not ranked separately from Coventry University.
  • A current fee table on the campus fees page. It still publishes a 2024/25 table, so every figure here comes from the course pages instead.
  • Backlogs policy for Indian applicants - not published
  • Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter acceptance - not published
  • Coursework vs exam percentage split at PGT level - not published
  • A London-specific statement of what happens if a placement is not secured - only the group-wide Coventry University page states this
  • Latitude/longitude from a university or Wikipedia source - values supplied are ONS postcode centroids for E1 7JF

The official record

  • Student Sponsor - Track Record on the Student route. gov.uk, Register of licensed sponsors: students, as of 21 August 2026.
  • Approved (fee cap) with the Office for Students, degree-awarding powers since 1992. Office for Students, Register of English higher education providers, downloaded 24 August 2026.
  • 1 year, 2 years with placement are the published course lengths. Read off the course pages.
