A January or May start is three months longer
This is the thing to know before you pick a start date here. The same degree runs a different length depending on when you begin. MSc Accounting and Finance is:
12 months (September starts), or 15 months (January and May starts)
Three extra months in Cambridge, which is an expensive city, for the same award and the same tuition. On the Professional Experience route the gap is the same again at 24 versus 27 months.
If September works for you, it is the shorter and cheaper way through.

Your fee is set by your course. Your start month does not change the fee, but it does change how long you are here, which changes what the year costs you.
What it asks of you
ARU sets one of the lower academic bars on this site, and it is stated as a division rather than a percentage.
The academic requirement
3 year Bachelors or 4 year Bachelor Engineering or Technology, minimum division 2 (50% - 59%) in relevant subjects
50% is the floor, which is lower than Bedfordshire at 55%, Teesside at 55% and Leicester at 60%. The qualifier is “in relevant subjects”, so the subject match matters more here than the mark.
English
ARU’s published standard is IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Neither a Medium of Instruction route nor a school-qualification waiver is published for masters entry, so plan on taking a test.
What a week looks like
ARU publishes the mix of assessment methods per course and no percentage split at any level above that.
There is no institution-wide ratio to give you, so the assessment block on your own course page is the answer. Westminster, Kingston and Sheffield Hallam do publish numbers, if that is something you want to compare on.
Getting here: When you arrive in Cambridge, we’re a 20-minute walk from the train station. The campus is a short walk from the centre of Cambridge, and the outlines above show it sitting either side of East Road.
